eacon is also looking for a Research Assistant for a 12 months contract. Applicants should fulfil as a minimum the following requirements:
Relevant university degree
Knowledge of EU law and politics including EU institutions and decision making
Prior work experience/internship(s) at EU level
Experience in health/research/industry policies an advantage
Excellent English, some knowledge of French and/or German an asset
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Computer literate
Good team player with ability to work independently
Your tasks will include:
Monitoring policy developments
Undertaking detailed research
Handling data, performing assessment and following up on the research
Assisting in preparation of presentations and project related topics
Some routine administration and support
Eacon offers internship opportunities all year long to students seeking to gain valuable insight in the field of political consultancy and get to know better interesting aspects of EU policy making. Three months is the minimum duration requested.
Your tasks will include:
Monitoring of relevant political developments in the EU
Participation in project work and event management
Writing texts and preparing presentations
Assistance with marketing and administrative work
Your profile:
Knowledge of EU law and politics
Excellent written and conversational skills
Flexible, quick learner
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
At least basic knowledge of French and/or German
Relevant professional experience (previous internships or other experience) is a plus.
No particular curriculum/degree is expected. Applicants can be graduates or students (min. 3rd year) in one of the relevant fields (political science, law, European economics, communication, journalism etc.). Applicants for whom an internship is a compulsory part of their curriculum will be regarded as priority.
