Office and Association Manager (Two positions available - full time and part-time)

The European Affairs Consulting Group (EACON) is a Public Affairs consultancy based in Brussels specialized in EU affairs and politics. For almost 20 years, EACON have provided high-level experience in working with the European and national institutions and other major stakeholders, as well as supported the management of trade and scientific associations engaged in European policy developments.


In order to support the management of the company and provide assistance to the projects and the association management of clients, we are looking for one motivated and result-oriented full-time and one half-time office and association manager . The selected candidate is expected to start on February 1 or as early as possible thereof.


As Office and association manager, you would be responsible for:

·        Administrative and office management support for EACON and its clients: eg accounting / bookkeeping support, database management, relations with suppliers;

·        Community management support: eg relations with clients' members and stakeholder organizations; recruitment of new members; creation of content for clients' websites and social media channels; monitoring of members and stakeholders activities;

·        Communications support: eg website, social media channels, PR outreach, communications planning, newsletter, internal communications;

·        Event management support: eg preparation of content and to organizational matters for client meetings, seminars and other events; some travel organization support;

·        Other tasks: ad hoc support to client-related activities (eg monitoring, data-gathering, preparation of briefings, meeting reports);


Requirements & qualifications

Education and professional experience


·        Relevant degree (university or professional degree training in the field of administration and / or bookkeeping, project management, etc.)

·        At least 2 years of demonstrable working experience in similar positions, performed for companies and / or non-for-profit organizations.


·        Experience in working for membership organizations;

·        Experience in project management;

·        Experience in social media management.

Professional skills


·        Full professional proficiency in English and French with additional language on asset;

·        Excellent communication and drafting skills;

·        Good command of MS Office


·        Experience with web management tools;

·        Independent and pro-active attitude

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Eye to detail; precision-oriented work style

·        Good personal presentation & behavioral skills

·        Strong interpersonal communication skills.
